Postdoctoral Researcher in Natural Products Cheminformatics
As part of our involvement with the Cluster of Excellence “Balance of the Microverse”, we invite applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher in Natural Products Cheminformatics commencing on 1st March 2026 or upon agreement. We offer a full-time position (100%, 40 hours per week, fixed-term position for 2 years) at the University of Jena.
This postdoctoral project will develop cheminformatics methods to turn mass-spectrometric and NMR data from Microverse partner labs into machine-actionable knowledge. The position supports developing the Microverse Signaling Atlas. The project integrates isotope tracing, spectral annotation, and statistical analysis. Deliverables include reproducible workflows, FAIR data products and atlas entries, supporting cross-consortium studies.
