Currently, Sagar is a vital member of a forward-thinking team dedicated to constructing FAIR data repositories and associated tools, with a strong emphasis on reusability and sustainability.

Before joining NFDI4Chem, Sagar kickstarted his career as an Associate Systems Engineer at TCS, a globally renowned IT services multinational. Driven by a deep-seated desire to make a difference, Sagar also delved into the realm of social administration, collaborating with NGOs focused on educational empowerment. Notably, his contributions to SWINFY, an organisation dedicated to skill development, have left a lasting impact.

In addition to his professional pursuits, Sagar is an avid explorer of various creative endeavors, including pencil sketches, nature photography, trekking, and even dabbling in screenwriting. His insatiable curiosity extends beyond technology, encompassing a wide array of interests under the sun.

In 2024, driven by a commitment to advancing research data management and contributing to the national chemistry infrastructure, Sagar joined the NFDI4Chem team in Jena, Germany.
